The Conversation Has Changed

Just finished up watching this week’s past episode of LOST and another great episode it was!

Charles, Eloise, and Daniel. The Widmores?

Yep, that is the case in the flash-sideways. And finally the convergence has started to make its appearance thanks to one of LOST fans’ most loved character Charlie Pace.

Desmond sees the island, Charlie sees Claire, and we meet the Widmores.

Daniel and Desmond have one of the best conversations of this season.  Daniel tells Desmond about a vision he had.  One where he saw a beautiful girl (very similar to the vision that Charlie discussed with Desmond.  Daniel was given a formula in this vision.  He claims that he doesn’t want to change history, but thinks that he already has.

Desmond continues to have flashes throughout.  This leads to Desmond going to the stadium where we first saw him running those stairs with Jack.  Penny is now the one running.  Desmond introduces himself, shakes her hand, and wakes up back on the Island where we last saw him, in the electromagnetic chamber of sorts.

Charles apologizes about having to put him through the test, and Desmond shocks us all when he says “I understand.”  Desmond states that he is ready to start what Widmore has planned for him, “something very important for the Island.”

Sayid jumps in and kills off one of Widmore’s men, then grabs a gun and tells the scientist to run.  Sayid says that these people are dangerous and that he needs to come with him and Desmond goes willingly and says “lead the way”
